Tradition resurrected

Our restaurant belongs to a hotel built next to the Vyšehrad Castle, a short way from the Prague's Downtown. Just as the hotel itself, the restaurant is a fine example of art nouveau architecture, and we do all we can to keep its distinctive atmosphere intact - you will appreciate stained-glass windows of the period and the motif appears also on our menus and other paraphernalia. A menu card from 1906 offers a serving of a young goose at 5 Czech crowns and a dish of veal & vegetables at 3.5...
Nowadays we offer the specialties of Czech cuisine, but also a range of selected international dishes. Our menu is certainly more than adequate to satisfy the most discriminating of gourmets. We serve wines supplied direct from the Moravian cellars of the Lechovice region. Our staff will be pleased to meet any of your wishes.
As a whole the restaurant is a non-smoking place, but the smokers will find a smoker-friendly spot at our daytime bar. Both the restaurant and the bar are a zone of free WIFI connectivity.
